Recipe Formulation: This green tea blend was inspired by ancestry. Heather at the
Jasmine Pearl Tea Company traces her family roots back to Morocco, where green tea with mint is ubiquitous and poured inside every home when guests arrive. Of any of the teas in our collaborative line of blends, this one required the most experimentation to get right.
Impact: The goal for our line of blends is to find new ways to showcase the teas made by our Indian and Nepali partners. This tea uses our popular Nepali Green Pearl from the
Tinjure Coop in Nepal, ensuring their pioneering work in community-owned tea operations gets shared with even more American tea drinkers. We know our customers have discerning palates, which is why we chose to partner with our good friends and master blenders at the
Jasmine Pearl Tea Company in Portland, Oregon. They are incredibly skilled at selecting herbs and spices to\hat complement and enhance—rather than mask— the base tea’s inherent character and qualities.
