For many dedicated tea drinkers, including Mitra on our team, tea is a full-blown lifestyle. With a good ceramic, one is sure to feel rich (although we can’t promise famous) immersed in a small world of tea-inspired objects, drinkable and beyond.
We wanted teaware that would support a lifelong tea practice. Ceramic teaware has great longevity and feel, so after searching many sources, we settled on the intelligent design of FORLIFE. Their stump teapot is sturdy and well-built, and their cups are classic and pleasantly heavy without being excessively so.
High-quality, specialty loose-leaf tea stays good for a long time when it’s stored well, which is why we’ve also included our new ceramic leaf storage jar. Its textured walls are patterned with abstract shapes, and its smart bamboo lid snaps tightly onto the top, keeping your tea free from moisture and light.
One of our favorite things about tea is that it is a complete experience--something that touches all of our senses, and what better way to create the ultimate tea practice than by donning your tea spot walls with beautiful art? So to give your wall a light botanical lift, Mitra designed two art prints inspired by the tea plant, titled Moonlight White or Cloud Mist.
And of course, you can’t make tea without a few tea leaves! We narrowed it down to good all-around loose-leaf from each of four categories: black, green, white, or oolong.
