This loose-leaf tea starter kit includes two teas that are delicious and forgiving when brewed. Nepali Golden Black is a high-end, organic black tea from Nepal’s first tea cooperative. This rich, aromatic whole-leaf tea has the familiar strength and boldness people associate with black tea, and layered with bright sweet fruit that often sparks wide eyes upon first sip. The other one is Darjeeling Green, a juicy, floral organic green tea from the legendary Makaibari Estate. It’s an easy steeping green, slow to release the astringency that often catches people off guard with green teas. Both teas can be steeped multiple times, with new flavors and aromas revealing themselves over time, a hallmark of quality loose-leaf.
