Tea unlocks all sorts of creativity, perhaps because tea itself is a form of art. Our resident artist and designer Mitra took inspiration from our favorite alpine botanical (Camellia sinensis) to create this piece called Moonlight White. Geometry and botany combine to evoke rays of moonlight bouncing off the leaves of a tea plant at night.
Printed on archival matte paper, this stunning 8” x 10” piece will be a grounding element in your living room, study, or tea spot. To ship, the art print is placed on a backing board inside a clear protective bag, and shipped in a rigid mailer. Frame is not included.
About the artist: Mitra is a multimedia artist and graphic designer with a background in art history, painting, and classical music. Her current work combines illustration, photography and typography with a minimalistic outlook and geometric forms at the core, the latter rooted in her Persian heritage. Drawing elements from the naturally occurring and human-made, she continually experiments with combining abstract and figurative to create unexpected juxtapositions.
